Marianne Taylor
Mrs. Marianne Crider Taylor, age 72, of Martin and formerly of South Fulton, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 11, 1951, in Mayfield, Ky., to the late Ralph Crider and Martha Dawes Crider.
Marianne was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ and a graduate of the first nursing class of the University of Tennessee at Martin. She was a registered nurse for 35 years at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Taylor of Martin; two sons, Scott (Whitney) Taylor of Martin and Eric (Sarah) Taylor of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Alex Taylor of Nashville, Mari Frances Taylor of Martin and Cooper Taylor and Allie Taylor, both of South Fulton; a sister, Linda (James) Faulkner of South Fulton; and a sister-in-law, Charlene Crider of Paducah, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kali Taylor; and a brother, Mike Crider.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
