CHIMES TIME
CHIMES TIME — The Obion County Children’s Chorus, comprised of a talented group of students from schools in the Obion County School System, sang and danced during Tuesday night’s Chimes for Charity telethon, staged as a one-night event in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Union City. Other entertainers included students from Kare Bear Preschool and the Voices of UCES from UC Elementary. The telethon raised $9,752 in donations and pledges, bringing the total raised thus far to $16,742. Chimes’ goal this year is $40,000, all of which will be used to provide food, clothing and toys to families and individuals in need across Obion County this Christmas.
