A ‘LITTLE’ LOUD

A ‘LITTLE’ LOUD — Beth Micke of Cloverdale placed protective earphones on her 16-month-old son, Paul, before the loud rumbles and roars of engines started at Friday night’s truck and tractor pull at the Obion County Fair. She and her husband, Bill, were among the crowd that endured high heat and humidity to enjoy the event, which started with tractors and ended with trucks vying for the best pulls of a sled along the dirt track. It was still a sweltering 90 degrees when the pulling action got under way at 7:40 p.m. at the south end of the fairgrounds.
