SURGE IN OPIOIDS

SURGE IN OPIOIDS — Mike Lyttle (left), assistant director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Forensic Services Division, shared information on 10 of the most common drugs being identified by the agency’s scientists. According to Lyttle, fentanyl and dangerous fentanyl analogues (drugs that have similar effects on the body) are contributing to a majority of the overdose deaths across the state. He was joined by TBI communications director Josh DeVine.
