WATER PLAY — Collins Carrington (third from left), 5, of Lexington, Tenn., was surprised when Axle Robbins, 7, of Troy burst a water balloon over her head Tuesday during water play at the Obion County Public Library. The Camp Community Program was on inventions and the children heard the reading of the book “Whoosh” by Chris Barton about Lonnie Johnson inventing the Super Soaker water gun. The summer program is winding down this month as students prepare to return to school in August. (See today’s News Note listing additional events, Page 8). Collins is the daughter of Matt and Allison Carrington. She is visiting her grandparents, Terry and Cheryl Harrington of South Fulton, for the summer. Axle is the son of Kasey and Kirstan Robbins.
