A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE

A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE — Samburg Police Chief Chris Cummings, who is retired from the U.S. Army, choked up Saturday during Samburg’s Memorial Day event as he spoke about Memorial Day, the number of lives lost during war and the many current and former military personnel being lost to suicide on a daily basis. He pleaded for something to be done and for everyone who has any indication someone is contemplating suicide to get help for that person.
