STORE COMING — Construction was rolling right along Friday morning on the new Dollar General Plus store being constructed on Palestine Avenue (Highway 183) in Obion. Site work started back in February, at which time the town posted on its Facebook page expressing appreciation to John Board of Board Farms, Obion County Mayor Steve Carr and Obion Mayor Rodney Underwood for their efforts in making the store become a reality and helping the community grow. The new store will be near Jack Rabbit Lane, just a short distance from the Obion exit on nearby Highway 51.
