Earl Pierce Jr.
Earl Allen Pierce Jr., 97, of Mountain Home, Ark., died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at his residence.
Born Thursday, Oct. 8, 1925, in Mason Hall, he was the son of the late Earl Allen Pierce and the late Sally Betty Hargrove Pierce. Mr. Pierce was a retired certified car mechanic with Madison Cadillac in Memphis. He was a member of Five South Church of Christ in Mountain Home.
Graveside services for Mr. Pierce were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, at Union Grove Cemetery near Kenton. Officiating this service was Bro. Mike Prestininzi. Family and friends were asked to gather at the cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 72 2/3 years, Annie Ruth Long-Turner Pierce of Mountain Home; two daughters, Sandra R. Milton and Marilyn P. Lynch, both of Mountain Home; two brothers, Frank Pierce of Kenton and Polk Pierce of Horn Lake, Miss.; and two sisters, Janette King of Nashville and Brenda Kasun of Jackson. He was “Grand-Daddy” to his three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherrill Pierce, Edward Pierce and Harry Badger.
