Candy Maitland

Candy Roberts Maitland, age 62, of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Sharon Church of Christ, 151 W. Main St., Sharon. Visitation will be from 1–2 p.m. Candy graduated from Westview High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. She owned Maitland’s Permanent Botanicals florist for several years. She was a huge fan of the University of Tennessee Vols and Tennessee Titans and enjoyed practicing yoga. She was the beloved mother of Trey and Connor Maitland. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Joyce Haworth; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and Ross Dempster and Beth and Scott Derrick; her brother, Steven Roberts; her aunt, Betty Cannon; and her grand-dog, Tee. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends also survive. Candy was preceded in death by her father, Robin Roberts.
