Tony Damesworth

Services for Tony Maurice Damesworth, age 80, of Gleason, TN will be held Saturday December 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Apostolic Church in Dresden, TN. Burial will follow in Liberty Apostolic Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. also at the Liberty Apostolic Church. It will resume Saturday morning at 11 a.m. and will go until time of his funeral service. Mr. Damesworth is survived by his wife, Beverly Damesworth of Gleason, TN. He is also survived by three children, Dewayne (Angela) Damesworth of Dresden, TN, Tracy (Brian) James and Mickey (Krystal) Damesworth, both of Gleason, TN. Mr. Damesworth leaves behind six siblings; Edith Newsome of Paris, TN, Linda Tabor of Kennett, MO, Judy Hammonds of Newbern, TN, Debra Lock of Dyersburg, TN, and Dean and John Damesworth both of Gleason, TN. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Damesworth was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Bonnie Damesworth, son, Marty Damesworth, three brothers, Grady, Petey, and Eston Damesworth, and two sisters, Rebecca Damesworth and Nancy Blevins.
