Sarah Faulkner

Sarah Omelia Faulkner, age 97, of Union City, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at NHC Oakwood in Lewisburg. Memorial services will be conducted at Martin Church of Christ in Martin on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. London Funeral Home and Crematory of Lewisburg is assisting the family with the arrangements. She was a native of Obion County, the daughter of the late John James and Hatti Carter James. She was a seamstress and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, James E. (Dovie) Greer of Hixson and Steve (Rhonda) Greer of Union City; two sisters, Peggy Burden of Obion and Betty (Murray) Beeler of Linden; one brother, Johnny (Joyce) James of Hermitage; eight grandchildren, Jack (Danielle) Greer, Elizabeth (Benton) Tatum, Laura (Jeff) Shooks, David Greer, Sara (Heath) Holt, Larry B. Greer, Andrea (Chad) Sharpe and Walter Greer; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Ewell Greer and Ben Faulkner; her son, Jerry B. Greer; and six siblings.
