Martha Wilson

Ms. Martha Jane “Juliet” Wilson, age 95, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at her home in Martin. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 in East Side Cemetery in Martin with Rev. Larry Washburn officiating. Family and friends may assemble in the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Murphy Funeral Home of Martin will be in charge of the arrangements. Ms. Wilson retired after 40 years with Sears and Roebuck and was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin. She is survived by her son, Dan (Donna) Merrill of Bartlett; her sister, June Hill of Martin; two grandchildren, Amber Merrill and Chris (Sandy) Merrill; three great-grandchildren, Chole Merrill, Kelsey Merrill and Courtney Eason; and three great great-grandchildren, Mason, Ari and Julian Eason. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Grainger and Willie Mae Howe Grainger; her sisters, Eleanor Whitlow and Louise Cummings; and her brothers, Joe Grainger and J.T. Grainger.
