Endearing wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda Bugg, 74 of Martin, was ushered through the Pearly Gates of Heaven on Thursday at her home while surrounded by loved ones. Linda worked many years as a factory laborer then later in life worked as a nutritional aid in long-term care and most recently in the school setting. She found fulfillment while caring for others and practicing her commitment of faith in the Lord. A member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church, she often volunteered to work with children by teaching Sunday school, scripting and producing plays and assisting with any other role needing to be filled for special services. Linda found great joy in gardening, shopping, and being the best MawMaw in the whole wide world. Linda is survived by daughters Janis (Edward) Hussey, Peggy (Jimmy) Caswell, and Linsey (Danny) Snider, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her spouse of 55 years Larry Bugg, son Christopher, great- granddaughter Makenzie Istre, brothers Charles Darryl Poiner, sisters Peggy Morris and Glenda Tatum, and Mother and Father James and Bessie Poiner. Per her wishes she will be cremated and her remains will be inurned during a private ceremony at Gardner Cemetery.
