Charles Moore

Charles Lynn Moore, age 87, of Martin, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at East Side Cemetery in Martin with Rev. Sky McCrackin officiating, with burial to follow with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Moore was retired from the Soil Conservation Service as a soil scientist and was retired from UT Martin computer center. He is survived by his wife, Paula Burton Moore of Martin; two sons, David (Lisa) Moore of Martin and Steve (Annette) Moore of Memphis; by three grandchildren, Logan Moore, Stefanie Kemp and Aubrey Ricketts; two great-grandchildren, Ellie Kate and Mason Kemp; and a sister, Maude Burns of Cleveland. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Keith N. and Cordelia Snapp Moore. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
