Betty Ferguson

Betty Lou Ferguson, 90, of Union City, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022 in Union City.
Funeral service were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Justin Beard and Bro. Stephen Sutton officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were James, Seth and Nathan Ferguson, Jeremy Hall, James Norman and Michael Moore.
Mrs. Ferguson was born on June 17, 1932, to the late Sidney Fitzgerald and the late Opal Myatt Fitzgerald. She married Claude Howell Ferguson on Sept. 13, 1955. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2009. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Bishop Street Church of Christ and worked for many years as a sales clerk at Freds Baddour in Memphis.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by two sons, Kevin Ferguson and his wife, Carol, of Union City and Howell Ferguson and his wife, Mary, of Jackson; her daughter, Donna Hogan and her husband, Lee, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandchildren, Jessica and Mallory Hogan, Laura Norman and her husband, James, Sarah Hall and her husband, Jeremy, Seth Ferguson and his wife, Katie, Nathan Ferguson and his wife, Kristi, James Ferguson and Katie Ferguson; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Ann Caughron and Judy Pulley; her brother, Jerry Wayne Fitzgerald; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ferguson was also preceded in death by one son, James Carl Ferguson.
