Robert Jackson

Funeral Services for Robert Lee Jackson, age 80, of Greenfield TN is Friday, September 9,2022 at 1:00 p.m. His visitation will begin Friday at 11:00 a.m. and go until time of funeral.  Burial will follow in rose Hill Cemetery.  Robert Lee Jackson was born January 18,1942 to Charity and Earnest Jackson.  He professed Christ at Johnson Tabernacle Church in Greenfield, TN.  He first united in holy matrimony to Willie Jewell Jenkins.  To this union, they had three children:  Carla, Marlo, and Ken.  Later in life, he united in holy matrimony to Betty Jean Coleman.  They lived in Greenfield, TN where he was a pilar to the community for over 40 years.  Robert left his stamp in the construction community by leaving a legacy in concrete all over much of the South.  He also loved gardening, farming, hanging out with the concrete crew, and especially best friend, Willie (Bear) Arnold.  He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Carla (Vincent) Scates, son, Robert (Justina) K. Jackson, grandchildren: Jacque Evans, La’Vincent Scates, Jercolby Milan, Kennedy Jackson, great grandchildren; Lexi Evans and Drake Milan. He also left a host of sisters and brothers: Ruby (James) Farris, Martha (Gerald) Jennings, Shirley (Nathaniel) Skinner, Rose (Lenard) Skinner, Marilyn (Eddie) Williams, Harvey (Gloria) Jackson, Thomas Jackson, and a host of nieces and nephews.  He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Marlo Jackson, brothers: Joe, John, Earl, and Johnny Jackson, nephews: Renardo Jackson, Kevin Farris, and Nathan Jackson.  The family of the late Robert L. Jackson appreciates all the calls, words of comfort, and prayers during their time of bereavement.
