51 YEARS OF SERVICE — Paula Rice (left) of Union City marked her final day on the job Friday as clerk and master of Obion County Chancery Court, retiring after working in the courthouse office a total of 51 years — 42 of those as clerk and master. Prior to leaving, she spent time helping her successor, Emily Hall of Union City, get acclimated to the position. Mrs. Hall, who was appointed by Chancellor Mike Maloan, took her oath of office Monday morning at the start of court.
