MEMORIAL DAY WALK — Retired Army Col. Kenneth Mintz (front) is on a 3,000-mile journey walking across America to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund and Operation Resiliency. On Monday, he was joined by (middle, from left) retired military officers Roy Adams for part of the walk and William “Bill” Warner for the full 20 miles, as well as support team driver Eric Hall. Warner, now of Winter Garden, Fla., is originally from Union City and is the son of John and Lelia Warner.
