Odie Faulkner

Odie Blakemore Faulkner, 91, a resident of Almo, Ky., died March 15, 2022, at Lake Way Nursing and Rehab in Benton, Ky.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Miles Mayo will officiate.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Faulkner was born on Aug. 25, 1930, in South Fulton, to the late Harvey Randolph and Lula (Darnell) Blakemore.
She was a homemaker. On July 5, 1984, she married Marvin Earl Faulkner. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2005.
Mrs. Faulkner is survived by two daughters, Anita (Bud) Myrick of Murray, Ky., and Cheryl (Van) Caulk of Bartlett; a son, George R. (Doris) Tune III of Naperville, Ill.; two stepsons, Dr. Marvin Faulkner of Kansas City and Larry Dale Faulkner of Mesquite, Texas; one sister, Lollie Blakemore Gray of Festus, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters; four brothers; a grandson; and a great-grandson.
The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
