Polly Cooper

Polly Sue Gillean Cooper, 80, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Obion County, died Jan. 20, 2022, in Phoenix.
No services will be held. Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix was in charge of cremation arrangements.
She was born April 23, 1941, in Rives, daughter of the late John Gillean and Banita (Woody) Gillean. She was married to Neil Cooper, who preceded her in death.
She was an outstanding basketball player at Rives High School, graduating in 1959.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Cooper of Phoenix; son, Greg Cooper of Phoenix; granddaughters, Paige, Brynn and Rebecca Cooper of Phoenix; and sisters, Linda Gillean Cruce and Jeanie Gillean Glover, both of Obion.
