Larry Goode

Larry Wayne Goode Sr., 50, of Union City passed away 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Richard Dickerson will officiate. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. today, Feb. 15, 2022.
Pallbearers will be Neil Stover, Luke Stover, Carson Stover, Darryl McGuire, Rob McCanty and Dalton McGuire.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Wayne Goode Jr., Austin Jesse “A.J.” Goode and Case O’Neil Goode.
Larry was born Oct. 27, 1971, in Dyersburg, son of the late Larry Gene Goode and Wanda (Goad) Goode Petty. He married Brooke (Stover) Goode Aug. 18, 2018. He was a self-employed truck driver.
He is also survived by four sons, Larry Wayne Goode Jr. (Reina-fiancée) of Las Vegas, Austin “A.J.” Goode of Union City, Case Goode of Union City and Evan Goode of Newbern; one daughter, Kelsey Purvis (Grant) of Newbern; five grandchildren, Delilah, Emily, Moses, Serenity and Sadie; and one brother, Randy Perry (Amy) of Dyersburg.
