Ed Bing

Edward “Ed” Bing, 70, of Union City passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Ed was born on April 30, 1951, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Edward and Claudia Bing. At a young age, he began working for the Union City Fire Department and served as a 1st Lieutenant before retiring. Ed cherished all of the time he could spend with his family. More than anything else, he loved and adored his family and just wanted to spend all of his time with them.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Felisha Ann Bing; one daughter, Stephanie Perry of Tennessee; one son, Chad Bing of Texas; two stepsons, Scott Gray (Holly) of Virginia and Jamie Gray of Tennessee; several sisters; several brothers; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Jim Barron, who was like a brother to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters.
