JoAnn Griffith

JoAnn Griffith, age 82, of Martin, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehab Center in Martin.
A Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Central Baptist Church in Martin with Bro. Kyle Mann officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at noon until the time of service. A private burial will be held at a later date. White-Ranson Funeral Home of Union City is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Griffith was born Nov. 10, 1939 to the late Chester Raymond and Dorothy Mae Goodman Easterwood. She married Joseph Thomas Griffith, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2018. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Crawford and her husband, Jim, of Martin; grandchildren, Miranda Norris Oliver and her husband, Andy, of Dresden, Lance Norris his wife, Ashley, Leigh Dowdy and Andrea Crawford, all of Martin; six great-granddaughters; one brother, Raymond Easterwood and his wife Juanita of Troy; one sister, Mary Moubray of Dresden; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Joe Coley; and one sister, Jane Calhoun. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Central Christian Academy in Martin or to the charity of your choice.
