Bertha Nanney

Bertha Ruth (Fitzpatrick) Nanney, 97, a resident of Woodland Mills, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted at East View Cemetery at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nanney was born Dec. 11, 1923, in Kennett, Mo., daughter of the late John and Maude (Berryman) Fitzpatrick. She married William Robert Nanney May 25, 1946. He preceded her in death Sept. 29, 2011. She was the office manager at Nanney’s Body, Hydraulics and Equipment for many years. She was a member of Woodland Mills First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nanney is survived by her daughter, Janice Orndorff of Manassas, Va.; three grandchildren, Adriana Bond Odis of Baltimore, Md., Judd Lee Bond of Woodland Mills and Kurt Lynn Bond of Manassas; one great-grandchild, Anna Laru Odis of Baltimore; and one sister, Lee Ella Land of Union City.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Cagle, Eva Guthrie, Elvie Underwood and Ber-nice Johnson; and three brothers, R.L. Fitzpatrick, Jerry Fitzpatrick and Lonnie Fitzpatrick.
