SOFT CUDDLES

SOFT CUDDLES — South Fulton Elementary School student Ansley Horner, 9-year-old daughter of Patrick and Heather Horner of South Fulton, cuddled a newborn chick Monday morning at Obion County Central High School as part of Obion County Farm Day. The event was hosted by the school’s FFA chapter, with assistance from Obion County Farm Bureau and the Obion County University of Tennessee Extension Service. Fourth-graders from across the county were invited to take part and learn information from Reelfoot Beekeepers, Tyson Foods, Tosh Farms, Tennessee Corn Producers, Tennessee Soybean Producers and Obion County cotton farmers. They were also able to see the high school’s sheep and utilize the Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom ag simulators.
