James Belew

Services for James Grady Belew, age 77, of Gleason, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Gleason First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Gleason. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Gleason First U.M.C. It will resume Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. and go until time of his funeral service. Mr. Belew is survived by his two daughters, Malita (Brad) Rich of Gleason and Melissa (Nick) Davis of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Ashley (Cameron) Brillon, Andrew (Nickie) Brillon, Jess (Hunter) Hames, Archie (Claire) Rich, Camden Davis, Avery Orr, Emerson and Isabella Tolleson, and Fallon and Farrah Hames. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Annie Belew; and nine siblings, Donnie Hood, Mary Alice James, Carol Robinson, Betty Seagraves, Myra Dean, Clyde, David, Jerry, and Charles Belew.
