Jerry Lee Hood

Jerry Lee Hood, 47, of the Clayton community passed away 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.
Funeral services were to be conducted 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mike Davis was to officiate.
Visitation was to be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services today.
Jerry was born Nov. 13, 1973, in Union City, son of the late Doris (Roberson) Rikard. He married Melissa Gayle (Brimm) Hood July 4, 1993. She preceded him in death April 30, 2006. Jerry had been employed for Kendall Lumber Company and Griffin Industries.
He is survived by two daughters, Shelly Hood and Erin Hood; one son, Jace Hood; two sisters, Sandra Hogg and Wanda Bell; and two brothers, Larry Rickard and Wilford Rikard.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Davis and Vickie Roberson; and one brother, Tommy Rikard.
