Mary Tanner

Mrs. Mary Tanner, 80, a resident of Union City, died July 25, 2021, at The Waters of Union City.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Jeff Kenee will officiate.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Curtis Flatt, Connor Flatt, Freddie Preuett Jr., Anthony Berry, Bobby Williams and Randy Thetford.
Mrs. Tanner was born on April 11, 1941, in Galesville, Wis., to the late Edward Charles and Hazel Ella (Thomas) Buttke. She was a homemaker. She married Wayne Tanner on May 6, 1961. He passed away on May 2, 2001. She was a member of Exchange Street Church of Christ.
The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or New Hope Pathways. Donations can be mailed to Exchange Street Church of Christ at 420 Exchange St., Union City, TN 38261 or directly to these organizations.
Mrs. Tanner is survived by two daughters, Denise Tanner (Curtis) Flatt of Franklin and Stacy Tanner (Freddie) Preuett of Union City; two sons, Douglas Wayne Tanner of Halls and Anthony (Christie) Berry of Martin; two grandsons, Connor McClain Flatt of  Franklin and Vincent Berry of Martin; two granddaughters, Shelby Tyler Flatt of Franklin and Cami Berry of Martin; a brother, John (Ruth) Buttke of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a sister, Annetta Frederick of Urbana, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
