Dana Kelly

Mrs. Dana Kay McKinnis Kelly, age 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 25, 2021. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Martin Church of Christ with Bro. Ricky Phillips, Bro. Danny Lamb and Bro. John Forgy officiating. Burial followed in Fremont Cemetery out of Union City. Pallbearers were Barry McKinnis, Curt True, Larry Cox, Jimmy Davis, Dick Phebus and Conor McKinnis. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Hughey, Sydney-Jayne Kelly, Sadie Kelly, Sicily Kelly, Valli Kelly, Kelly Davis, Katie Jenkins, Ali Davis, Wes Davis, Jean and Jay Phebus, Daniel Phebus, Chris Phebus and John Phebus. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Kelly of Martin; her children, Angie Kelly Hughey and Bubba (Valli) Kelly, both of Martin; four grandchildren, Jack Hughey, Sydney-Jayne, Sadie Kelly and Sicily Kelly; sister and brother-n-law, Nita and Dick Phebus of Bartlett; brother and sister-in-law, John and Brenda McKinnis of Johnson City. Dana was an avid enthusiast antique admirer. She planned and worked estate sales all over the area for years and continued her study and love for antiques until recently. She was a gardener always having a passionate love for flowers of any kind. She was a member of the Martin Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Wesley “Dan” McKinnis and Mary Katherine Grady McKinnis. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
