Virgie Lee Osteen

Mrs. Virgie Lee Osteen, 85, of South Fulton passed away 7:04 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Graves Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak. Bro. Paul Adams will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will Charlie Davis, Harley Davis, Jere-my Davis, Makayla Davis, Trevor Pollock, Timbo Smith, Jesse Davis and Tim Davis.
Virgie was born March 1, 1936, in Halls, daughter of the late Jack and Lois (Doss) Blakley. She worked for the former Lear Siegler Inc. and attended Walnut Grove Church in South Fulton.
She is survived by one son, Ricky Davis (Theresa) of South Fulton; one daughter, Judy Abshire (David Sr.) of Union City; four grandchildren, Ricky Davis and Tim Davis (Mindy), all of South Fulton, David Abshire Jr. of Grand Rapids, Ky., and Jennifer Pickering (Chris) of Union City; nine great-grandchildren, Harley Davis, Timothy Davis, Jesse Davis, Makayla Davis, Charlie Davis, David Abshire III, Taylor Pickering, Kayla Pickering and Zoe Pickering; and one sister, Dorothy Bingham of Samburg.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
