Roger Lee Easley, 68, of Union City died Saturday, March 20, 2021, at his residence.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Rawls Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home.
He was born July 23, 1952, to the late George and Vyra “Morris” Easley of Union City. Roger is one of 14 children.
Roger attended Union City schools and graduated from Union City High School, receiving his diploma in 1971. He went on to attend Western Kentucky Technical and Vocational School where he received a degree in masonry.
He spent several years as an employee of the former Reelfoot Packing Company, but retired from Jimmy Dean Foods.
Roger leaves behind his daughter, Genika Turner of Union City; his son, Chauncey Easley of Dallas; grandsons, Lakevius Turner of New Mexico and DeKayvrun Jordan of Union City.
He also leaves behind his sisters, Elizabeth “Louise” Easley, Janice Easley and Gloria Easley of Union City, Shirley Easley of South Fulton, Patricia Crumble of Hickman, Ky., and Caroline Easley of Indiana; a brother, Charles Easley of Mississippi; a sister-in-law, Eunice Easley of Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vyra Easley; his sisters, Janet Kaye Easley and Dorothy Easley; and brothers, Jerry Easley, Billy Easley, William Easley, Robert Easley and Bobby Easley.
Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
