Mark Edward Rogers, 53, of Trussville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2021, at his home.
Mark was born Oct. 21, 1967, at Obion County General Hospital and lived in Obion County briefly. Mark was the son of Marvin Dale and Lou Ann (Eddlemon) Rogers. Most of his family resided in Obion County, and Mark was a frequent visitor with his grandparents, R.H. and Rubye Rogers of Troy.
Mark was a 1986 graduate of Trigg County High School in Cadiz, Ky., and a long-time employee of Regions Bank in Birmingham, Ala.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kerre Rogers Perry (Mike) of Crofton, Ky.; and a brother, Michael Rogers (Leah) of Dickson. Mark has four surviving nieces and two surviving nephews. Mark is also survived by a daughter, Laurel Cole Lunte; and a grandson, Zachary Boyd.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.H. and Ruby Rogers and Ralph and Mattie Eddlemon, all of Obion County.
There will be a brief visitation from noon until 1:15 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
