Al Hamilton

Fredrick Alfred “Al” Hamilton, 73, of Samburg died Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare in Dyersburg.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Brother Dale True will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Johnson, Lance Gray, Kirk Palmer, Dave Roberson, Terry Crittendon and Heath Cunningham.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1947, in Union City, son of the late Jamie and Bonnie (Miller) Hamilton.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired hunting and fishing guide on Reelfoot Lake.
He was a member of American Legion, Post 174, Tiptonville, and of the Church of Christ faith.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by a daughter, Angela Kelly of South Fulton; two sons, Chad Hamilton of Troy and Jonathan Jones of Panama City, Fla.; five grandchildren, Madilyn (Justin) Milligan of Newbern, Drake Hamilton of Troy, Rylen Kelly and Hayden Kelly, both of South Fulton and Sophia Jones of Panama City; one great-grandson, Easton Milligan; two sisters, Kay Romero of Maryland and Linda Gay Mathis of Mayfield, Ky.; three brothers, Gary Hamilton of Union City, Greg Hamilton of Ridgely and Jamie Hamilton Jr. of the Dixie community; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hamilton; and a brother, Joe Robert Hamilton Sr.
