Jeff Hamblen

Jeffery Lee “Jeff” Hamblen, 62, of Hornbeak passed away at 8:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.
Pallbearers will be Ben Brady, Chuck Brady, Karl Burrows, Michael Whitehead, Paul Whitehead and Jamie Whitehead.
Jeff was born Nov. 17, 1958, in Union City, son of the late Jerry Dale and Martha Dell (Ross) Hamblen. He had been employed at Flippen’s Hillbilly Barn and was of the United Methodist faith.
He is survived by three sisters, Annette Myers (Russ) of Hornbeak, Billie Dell Carter (Alton McCollum) of Union City and Susan Johnson Rearden (Stewart) of Cloverport, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Glenn Thompson and James Robert “Bob” Hamblen.
