Ruth Oseman

Mary Ruth Frierson Oseman, 94, of Memphis passed away Dec. 29, 2020.
She was the daughter of Susie Chapman Frierson and Curry Frierson. Ruth married Hollis Oseman March 10, 1945. They had 52 years together.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Jack Frierson; and her sister, Martha Frierson Adkins.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Steve Oseman (Rhonda) of Memphis and Gary Oseman (Linda) of Nashville; five grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Christina, Amy, Andrew Clabe and Laura Anne; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Ruth may be offered to Raleigh United Methodist Church, 3295 Powers Road, Memphis, TN 38128.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Eastside Cemetery in Martin.
Dignity Memorial in Memphis was in charge of arrangements.
