 COLLECTED FOR KIDS — Obion County Sheriff’s Office deputies Cory Pinion (left) and Waylon Spaulding paused Friday to gather some of the toys donated by the community during this year’s “Pack the Patrol Car” collection, staged by both the sheriff’s office and the Union City Police Department. The toys, as well as non-perishable food and cash donations, will be used to help less fortunate families across Obion County this Christmas, both through police efforts and through the annual Chimes for Charity program. Chimes plans to deliver 300 food baskets, as well as toys to families with children, Thursday morning.
