Jackie Bone

Jackie Bone, 75, of Union City died Dec. 6, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City .
Graveside services were held at East View Cemetery on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Blake Nichols officiating.
Pallbearers were Braeden Cox, Phil Beeler, Cory Pledge, Justin White, Gary White and the Rev. Blake Nichols. Masks and social distancing were required.
The family received friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
He was born on Aug. 20, 1945, in Obion County, son of the late Robert and Mary (Williams) Bone. On Sept. 4, 1987, he married the former Marsha Hays. She survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired after 40 years as a supervisor at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company where he received many awards. He was area manager of the month and area manager of the year in 1995.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City, an avid golfer and a loyal fan of the Tennessee Vols and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three daughters and their spouses, Brandy (David) Clary of Columbia, Ill., Valerie (Phil) Beeler of Collierville and Erin Janes of Union City; two sisters, Rhonda White of Tiptonville and Teresa Ping of Danville, Va.; six grandchildren, Brett Stowell of Trenton, Ashton Cavender of Sharon, Will Beeler of Normal, Ill., Braeden Cox of Imperial, Mo., Ava Beeler of Collierville and Gavin Pledge of Union City; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Bone and Billy Bone.
