Gary Killebrew Sr., 70, of Union City passed away 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Gary was born Nov. 30, 1949, in Union City, son of the late Thomas Marvin and Annie Kathryn (Johnson) Killebrew. He married Sue (Tucker) Killebrew March 15, 2003. She survives. Gary had served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and had been employed as a sawmill worker.
He is also survived by one son, Gary “Bubba” Killebrew Jr. of Mississippi; two daughters, Gail Pierson and Starr Killebrew, both of Helena, Ark.; three stepsons, Robert Thompson Jr. of Michie, Charles Thompson of Union City and Michael Conn of Troy; two sisters, Judy Reason of Hickman, Ky., and Kathryn Golden of Union City; and one brother, Terry Killebrew of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by one stepson, Curtis Thompson; and four brothers, Ronnie Killebrew, Don Killebrew, Joe Thomas Killebrew and Billy Killebrew.
