Ann McEwen

Mrs. Sarah Ann McEwen 83, of Troy died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at her residence.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Troy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Judd Mowery officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church. The family asks that everyone please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McEwen was born June 5, 1937, in Pasadena, Calif., daughter of the late W. J. and Allie (Smith) Caldwell. She married Joe McEwen Aug. 5, 1955, and he survives.
She was a longtime, active member of the Troy United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She touched the lives of many children throughout her years working at Troy Elementary School and the Obion County Migrant School program. Ann retired from Century 21 Golden Services after 15 years, where she received many awards.
As a tribute to Ann’s serving heart, the family requests donations be made to Reelfoot Rural Ministries or the charity of the donor’s choice.
She is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Ronnie) Johnson and Teresa Tibbs, all of Troy, and Beth (Jeff) McBride of Rives; one son, Bo McEwen of Troy; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, Heather (Chad) Franks, Shawn (Jamie) Johnson, Tara (Brian) Burress, Becky (Jerry) Menees, Carla (Chris) Butts, Annah (Larry Joe) Daniel, Jessica (Trey) Browning, Callie (Tim) Darnell, Will (Candace) McBride and Clint (Kassadie) Tibbs; and 20 great-grandchildren.
