IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS — Union City Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade football team members recently enjoyed a camping excursion to first-year head coach Cole Clanton’s family’s farm at Shawtown. Clanton said the lessons learned and experiences gained on the campout were just as important as the many which football itself teaches. The squad finished the season with a 5-1 record.
