Deloris Paschall

Deloris Paschall, 85, of Ridgely passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at Regional One in Memphis.
Deloris was born on Sept. 22, 1935, in Ridgely, to the late Buyrl and Opal Sadler Larry. She was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ridgely. Deloris was also an avid tennis player.
Services will be held 3 p.m. today in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phillip Senn officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. until the hour of services today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, William E. “Sonny” Paschall of Ridgely; a son, Larry Paschall (Susie) of Ridgely; two daughters, Susan Patterson of Henderson and Julia Paschall of Jackson; two sisters, Ruth Shirley and Allean Thurmond, both of Union City; five grandchildren, Jonathan Patterson (Alivia), Landon Paschall (Karen), Lauren Callis (Bradley), Ethan Stewart and Ethan Agnew; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan Paschall, Zoe Paschall and Ella Callis.
In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Patterson; and two sisters, Wanda Searcy and Peggy Thomason.
Pallbearers will be Landon Paschall, Bradley Callis, Ethan Stewart, Nathan Paschall, Jonathan Patterson and Ethan Agnew. Honorary pallbearers will be Kent Patterson, Trent Patterson and Jack Flowers.
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church in Ridgely.
