Mrs. Cordelia Ethridge, 88, of Fulton passed away Oct. 12, 2020, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born April 12, 1932, to the late William Earl Smith and Martha L. McDonald Smith in Holly Springs, Miss. She was a member of Riceville Baptist Church and had been a cook for the former Haws Nursing Home. She had lived in this area all of her life.
Mrs. Cordelia is survived by a son, Roy J. Ethridge (Amy) of Lakeland; a daughter, Gina L. Ethridge of Louisville, Ky.; two grandchildren, Wendy Jo Cook Doss (Tillman) and Cory Cook, all of Union City; two great-grandchildren, Madison Thompson (Gary) of Milan and Mason Royce Walton of Union City; three great-great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Joy Thompson and Galen Wayne Thompson, both of Milan, and Austin Blake Cook of Union City; and a brother, William Earl “Buddy” Smith of Oakland.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ethridge was preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Ethridge; a grandchild, Mandy Cook; and three brothers.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
