Kenneth Scott

Kenneth Scott, 84, of Troy died Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Memorial services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at White & Mahon Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerrell Dawson officiated.
The family received friends from noon until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1936, in Lake County, son of the late Luther and Elsie (Hunt) Scott. He married the former Ruth Ann Sanders on March 28, 1957. She passed away on July 31, 1999. On July 28, 2000, he married Janette Vaughn. She survives.
He retired from the former Reelfoot Packing Company and then worked as a plumber. He was a member of Troy First Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and their wives, Kenny (Patrice) Scott of Cookeville and Mike (Laura) Scott and Jerry (Betty) Scott, both of Troy; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters and their husbands, Jana (Dwight) Phillips of Union City and Joyce (Bryan) Burney of Hampstead, N.C.; two stepsons and their wives, Jeff (Linda)  Fox of Willmington, N.C., and Jason (Michelle) Fox of Jackson; eight stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Glenda Hutchison of the Shawtown community.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
