WAND WAVING 101

WAND WAVING 101 — The Obion County Public Library Summer Reading Program is in full swing, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has forced library staff to alter the program this year. Library patrons (from left) Jasper Purdy, 9, her sister, Willow Purdy, 5, and Sage Latham, 9, all of Troy, listened closely as Obion County Public Library children’s and youth coordinator Ashley Bishop (not pictured), teaches the students how to use the magic wands they made on Tuesday. The group also enjoyed a snack of pretzel stick “brooms” and green juice jugs while listening as Mrs. Bishop read “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart.”
