Danita Kay Johnson

March 04, 1958 – May 30, 2020

Danita Kay Johnson went to her heavenly home on May 30, 2020. She passed at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born March 4, 1958 in McKenzie, TN to Dan and Jane Powell. 

She is survived by her husband Denver. Daughters Taylor (Randon) Lingle, and Kelsey Johnson; who both live in Oklahoma City. Her mother; Jane Powell. Brothers; Danny Powell, Derek (Samm, Kaylee, Kyler) Powell. And several other uncles and cousins. 

Danita is preceded in death by her father, Dan Powell. Grandparents; Ben and Elizabeth Baker, and Harry Brown and Lonada Powell. 

Services to celebrate her life well lived will be Sunday June 7, 2020 at Williams Funeral Home In Greenfield, Tennessee. Family will receive friends from 1-3pm followed by the service starting at 3pm. 

In lieu of flowers a donation in Danita’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the Danita Johnson Memorial Fund (Memorial ID 12038260)
