Ronny Ray

Ronald “Ronny” Dale Ray, 65, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, in Medina.
He was born on June 15, 1954, in Mayfield, Ky., to Joyce Canter and the late Phillip Ray.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Ray; and his stepfather, Joe Canter.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Canter of Mayfield; his wife, Pam Ray of Arab, Ala.; a son, Brandon Thomas (Michelle) of Union City; two daughters, Kelly Buck (Brian) of Medina and Shelly Hutson (Brent) of Fincastle, Va.; and five grandchildren, Nate, Jenna, Jon David, Halle and Rachel.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed doing yard work and landscaping and was known as a grill master by his family.
A graveside service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory, Ky., at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Medina Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
