Mr. John Henry Pate, 66, a resident of Troy, died Friday afternoon, May 8, 2020 at the AHC Healthcare in Union City.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 13th at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Troy with Bro. Bobby Barnett officiating.

Family will serve as pallbearers and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Pate was born December 16, 1953 in Obion County, son of the late Louis Clifton Pate and Isabell (Butler) Jackson. He is a former employee of Searcys Contractors in Union City and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by two daughters Kayla Pate of Union City and Rebecca Pate of Martin; two son and daughter-in-laws John C. (Krista) pate of S. Fulton, Zachary C. (Wendy) Pate of Fairborn OH. Thirteen grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren,

He is also survived by four sisters, Judy Knight, Janie Walker, Juanita Carson and Anne Hopper and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by two sisters and two brothers
