Harold Baker

Harold Edward Baker, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2020, in Washington, N.C., after a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 24, 1937, in Obion County, the son of the late Britt E. and Leffie M. Eddington Baker of Union City. He was formerly married to Marilyn Hicks Baker, who died in 1963. He married Carolyn P. Baker in 1964. She passed away in 2018.
He was retired from Southeastern Freight Lines after many years of award-winning service.
He is survived by three sons, Ricky Baker of Union City, Gary L. Baker (Cindy) of Clarksville and Brent E. Baker (Lisa) of Washington; his granddaughter, Misty Lightner of Union City; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Anthony B. Baker; his sister, Nancy Ring; and his brother, Jerry Baker.
A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
