Ramona Wade, 83, of Troy died Jan. 3, 2020, at Union City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ran-son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Judd Mowery officiating. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Harry Johnson, Jim West, Tim Smith, Ralph Wheatley, R.C. “Pete” Mooney and Sam Baker.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Morris, members of the Troy Order of the Eastern Star and members of the young adult Sunday school class at Troy United Methodist.
The family received visitors from noon until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born on May 19, 1936, in Obion County, to the late Raymond and Oneil (Weatherly) Phillips. She married John Wade on Dec. 22, 1954. He survives.
She worked as a homemaker, a member of Troy United Methodist Church, the Troy Order of the Eastern Star and Troy Lions Club.
She is survived by her husband, John Wade of Troy; one daughter, Debbie (David) Bailey of Troy; two sons, Phillip (Libby) Wade of Elbridge and Kevin (Sherry) Wade of Dyer; four grandchildren, Amanda Weaks of Troy, Lindsey Hopkins of Union City, Brandy Wade of Union City and Christy Messick of Lexington, Ky.; nine great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Wayne (Barbara) Dunn; one sister-in-law, Gwen Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
