SHERIFF’S SHOPPERS — School resource officer David Callens (left) and investigator Angie Taylor, both of whom serve with the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, helped a little girl shop for new clothing Sunday afternoon during Chimes for Charity’s annual children’s shopping tour, held at the Walmart Supercenter in Union City. Several sheriff’s deputies, investigators, staff and their families volunteered to participate in the annual event, which provides winter clothing for children in need from around Obion County. Callens is the new school resource officer at Black Oak Elementary School in Hornbeak. He was one of several SROs on hand to help.
